Previously the site was a set of garages with the intent to rent them out however, the demand for these has slipped away. The proposal is aimed at optimising housing output while rigorously considering the local context, design and transport opacity. The proposal also exceeds the London planning requirements for private and communal amenity space, with a net increase in amenity space.
