We are currently working to restore and extend this grade II listed house while also keeping its original features on the old part. Our proposal consists of a cubic addition to the west flank. We proposed to wrap the extension in Corten steel, while treating the facades as abstract compositions of rectilinear windows. In doing so we have separated the old from new ensuring the Grade II listed house keeps its personality while the contemporary extension makes its own characteristics and features.
